Welcome to the 18th Judicial District Court of Kansas in Sedgwick County

Throughout Kansas and here in Sedgwick County, district courts are the front line of the judicial system. District courts are the trial courts of Kansas with the power to preside over all civil and criminal cases, including divorce and domestic relations, damage suits, probate and administration of estates, guardianships, conservatorship cases, care of the mentally ill, juvenile matters, and small claims. It is here that the criminal and civil jury trials are held.

Click here to pay by credit card; most traffic citations filed in the 18th Judicial District Court are eligible. Any citation requiring a court appearance or any Traffic misdemeanor citation that has already resulted in a drivers license suspension for failure to appear can not be paid without a court appearance.
